What Happens if I Delete the App?

When you delete Polyguard from your phone, all of your stored identity data is deleted with it. This is by design — your sensitive information always stays on your device and never in the cloud.

If you download the app again in the future, you'll need to go through the setup steps again. That includes re-doing your identity verification, since the app won't have your old data saved.

If you think you might need Polyguard later, we recommend keeping the app installed so you don't have to repeat the process.
