Document Verification Failed¶
Polyguard asks you to scan a government-issued ID (like a passport or, driver’s license) to confirm your identity. If this step fails, it usually means the system could not read or validate the document.
Common reasons include:
- The photo is blurry, too dark, or has glare.
- Parts of the document are cut off in the picture.
- The ID is expired or not supported in your country.
- The document is damaged, worn, or does not match your face scan.
What you can do:
- Make sure the document is valid and not expired.
- Take the photo in good lighting, without glare, and make sure the entire document is visible.
- Use the original physical document, not a photocopy or a screenshot.
- Try again with a different valid government ID if one is available.
Summary: If your document fails verification, check the photo quality, confirm the ID is valid, and resubmit. Using clear images of a valid, original ID usually fixes the issue.
