Document Verification Failed

Polyguard asks you to scan a government-issued ID (like a passport or, driver’s license) to confirm your identity. If this step fails, it usually means the system could not read or validate the document.

Common reasons include:

  • The photo is blurry, too dark, or has glare.
  • Parts of the document are cut off in the picture.
  • The ID is expired or not supported in your country.
  • The document is damaged, worn, or does not match your face scan.

What you can do:

  1. Make sure the document is valid and not expired.
  2. Take the photo in good lighting, without glare, and make sure the entire document is visible.
  3. Use the original physical document, not a photocopy or a screenshot.
  4. Try again with a different valid government ID if one is available.

Summary: If your document fails verification, check the photo quality, confirm the ID is valid, and resubmit. Using clear images of a valid, original ID usually fixes the issue.
